Too lean, you need to richen it up some, You want your timing advance to drop around your peak torque, and rise steadily to say 15-16 degrees.. Add fuel to get those timing numbers down, then focus on no knocking!

i did add fuel the o2 dosent change and the knock deosent go away. here is another log.

Yeah, need to know your fuel setup (pump, injectors, FPR) and controller (AFC). Make sure your base FP is set at 37psi and your base timing is at 5*BTDC.

Can you guys please take a look at my log also on my webpage www.98eclipseturbo.com
Boost is at 16psi with a 16g on stock injectors and greddy FMIC.
Thanks.
Don't hijack, start your own thread, this will make things too confusing. Can't you post the data, not just the graph? No one will want to look at that.

Do a log once with TPS, airflow, o2 and timing. Once you confirm your TPS shows 100% when you have it floored, do a log with just airflow, o2 and timing. The other stuff is mostly irrelevant. Then post this info in a new thread :thumb:

sorry about that, i just thought since you guys were already on the subject i would ask.

i got a build lower end ross 8:5,1 fp 37, 510cc, 16psi, 255, safc1 and base timing is at 5

So yes you have an AFPR?

Do you have your fuel trims set?

What are your high throttle settings on the AFC?

no, i have stock fpr but it read 36 37 psi.

1 2 3 3.5 4 5 6
-15 -12 -10 -9 -6 -3 +1
thats how i have it now i was messing around with them

my trims are 102 106 109

Hmm. Okay a few more things:

You really should have an AFPR with that pump, your fuel could be erratic, making tuning guesswork.

You should end up around -10 or -12 on your AFC, if you are lean and seeing knock when you are at -3 or +1 something is going on.

Are you using at least 91 octane?

i know its wierd. i use bp 93 octaine, ya its knocks at the higher rpms (5 6k) pretty bad, and not only that the o2 dosent go past .82, its a pretty new o2 senser two.

Did you check for boost leaks?

weith1111 is correct in that getting an AFPR will make life easier. It's not a huge deal as we are tuning WOT and not really concerned with FT's right now. But for low throttle tuning, an AFPR will be priceless.

Is this a 5 speed or an auto?

For now I would say zero out your AFC. From what it looks like its leaning the car out too much. I would go back to zero's and do another log and post that one up. Also do what they said and look into getting an AFPR.

What turbo is this?

stock turbo. so if i go + with the afc thats adding fuel right? ill post another log with it zeroed out.

here is the run zeroed out on the safc

so what should i tune for now? to get the o2 up to .89 or to get the timing down.
where it is not knocking should i take away fuel?

It's interesting that zeroing out your settings made a big difference in both the O2 and the knock. You were telling be that it didn't. What did you do to get the FP to drop back to stock from the 43psi you told be about?

Are you getting any misfiring? It looks like you might have around 5k on the last log.

What are you trying to log with EGRT?

I'd like you to reset the ECU, leave the SAFC alone for a day and get some new fuel trim readings. With all the knocking you were doing before clearing out the "octane" variable would be a good idea.

Perhaps we can go for a drive again and do some tweeking.

i switched fpr, i guess i had the wrong one on there.
i dont remember it missing on that last log that i did.
nothing with the egrt it was on there when i put it on my computer.
i reset the ecu last night, i dissconected the battery.

how did you get my IDC i dont think they where on the log. how could i be out of injector?
how much are the 510 good for? im running 15 or 16 psi.

if everything is good here, i wonder if you could answer my last post.

thanks steve

IPWxRPM/1200=IDC I believe is how Steve got IDC. Your injectors got nothin' left!
Based on the airflow that the MAF is measuring and the stock fuel maps.
Any boost leaks will up the IDC while reducing the performance.

I cheated with the IDC calculations. I have a spreadsheet but the machine it's on is down so I used this one. http://www.stealth316.com/2-calc-idc.htm

I was expecting you to be pretty high since the 510cc injectors aren't that much bigger than the 450s. You might want to hold onto the other FPR. You could use the 43.5 psi regulator. It's not like you have anough injector to turn the boost up high enough to worry about the pump relief valve.

The IDCs seem pretty high so I have a hard time believing 0 boost leaks.
