So here are the mods I'm planning on piecing together in the near future. The car will be almost exclusively for track use.

I'll have a 6 bolt block bored .020 over with 8.5:1 forged aluminum pistons.

Ferrea Valves
3rd gen revised lifters
1600cc injectors
Aeromotive A1000 AFPR
Aeromotive High Volume fuel rail
Walbro 255HP Would this be alright or do I need something bigger?
Brian Crower 280 cams
I have a set of Crower valve springs and Ti retainers, but would they be able to hold up with the above mods?

As far as turbo goes I'm looking into a Borg Warner 366-40R would twinscroll or single scroll be a better choice?
Also I need a t4 manifold but am still looking, any choices? I was thinking maybe Full Race
Tial 44mm wastegate
Not sure on a BOV Any suggestions?
I also need suggestions on an o2 housings
Probably an air-to-water intercooler

DSMLink
NGK AFX
All supporting gauges for above mods

ACT 2600 or 2900 with Fidanza flywheel
Also a rebuilt tranny

Custom Exhaust

Car will be run on E-85 and I hope to be able to push around 40psi

Thanks for the help

Right on, Aurora FTW! :rocks:

If you get the Fidanza, please get a scattershield. Its good insurance man, I've seen more than one lightened flywheels disintegrate at high RPM under abuse.

BOV go Tial 50mm is a very popular choice for high boost or the beloved HKS SSQV which is not supposed to leak period. Most people I know say that for the price of a twinscroll there are no real or noticeable benefits, go single IMO, although I can't personally attest to a difference between them.

Thanks for the help guys, the parts ordering should start when I get back from vacation on monday.

Honestly you should get a tial bov,a shearer or full race manifold which they both are good companies. And go twin scroll it spools the turbo faster

That turbo is going to make a lot of power. What kind of tranny are you going to get? I recommend at least a 4 spider gear diff, maybe a welded diff. Also what rpm are you planning to rev too. If its over 8000rpm dont expect to shift that ACT. I see you are on stock rods so I guess you wont be spinning past that.

I think you may want to think of a twin disc setup with the power you may make. Not to mention it will shift a lot better.

Ever think of an HX40. They push a lot of air and spool insanely fast. Also alot cheaper. You could get the whole turbo under $300 and buy a divided manifold that will work nice on the stock housing.

Yeah it's a lot of money. But I got a promotion which will cover most of it LOL

JayRolla: I actually have upgraded Eagle Rods. I just forgot to list them. And as far as transmission goes I'm currently storing up funds for a Premium rebuild from Jack. Twin disc sounds like a good idea.

Any thoughts on o2 housings? I have no idea what to get.

Hey Matt, did you used to be part of the CODSM club? I wonder if we know each other... I lost track of the people I used to talk to on there. My name is Shawn, I'm pretty sure I was the only one rocking a 1G Laser that was modified in Aurora for a while there...in bright red.

On topic, good choice with the recirc. Are you still on the 1G MAF? I didn't see any mention in the first post...
