I just recently bought a 93 Talon TSi FWD. The car needs some work, but has some mods already done to it. I was wondering what needs to be changed, or if what it has works. Im aiming towards 400hp. I live in Florida, emissions wont be an issue :D I've been doing a lot of reading on here and have a general idea, but some input would be nice

Mods:
FMIC - Havent measured the size of the core or the piping yet.
20g Turbo - Dont know what size it is
RC Injectors
S-AFC
External 40mm Waste Gate - Not sure on brand and flange was welded to stock exhaust manafold?
Downpipe - Looks to be 3" and has a removable plate to run open exhaust
Exhaust - looks to be 3" same size as the downpipe with no cat
EPROM ECU - Not sure what has been done, theres a sticker and a date on it
Boost Guage
Manual Boost Controller
Internals - stock

Besides all the general maintanence stuff, you should be able to obtain your goals given that you have an upgraded fuel system. You mentioned RC injectors and an AFC, but I hope you have a larger fuel pump to go with those. Another key is going to be tuning. Get yourself a datalogger to go along with your AFC. I'm sure there is more, but that is just what I can think of off the top of my head.

I havent had a chance to take a look at the fuel pump yet. All the fuel lines appear to be stock. As far as tuning... I think that'll be fun. I cant find anyone locally that knows about these cars enough that I would trust. But I suppose I could find some help on here :thumb:

The only mod I would do is get awd. If you plan on your car having around 400hp your gonna either need 4 wheels turning or a limited slip diff and slicks to keep those wheel on the ground. Can we say wheel hop. Buy a AWD and put all those parts into it. I would if i could. :sneaky:

Thats on my to-do list... Tranny from TRE or Shepard. That will be on a later post. :p

One thing I forgot to add... When changing the timing belt on this motor along with the balance shaft belt... I reused the tensioner, and ah it was bad. Use your imagination from here... So im getting one of those JDM motors.
