actually money isnt a big problem for me. im not saying im a Rich Boy or anything im jus sayin that money is not a big issue for me. Are u trying to say its overkill or its just a big list?

my goals are to reach 350whp (around there, maybe more later on).
make it a street/track car(i wont be a idiot and street race illegaly)
a dont really want a specific time on the 1/4 mile
also for it to be my everyday car(but im going to use it maybe 3-4 times a week)

Now see, that wasn't that hard was it?

With that 255 pump you will need an AFPR.

You don't want the narrow band A/F ratio gauge. You want a wideband gauge.

If you plan on going to the strip, and some high hp numbers, and money is no object, then get some slicks.

ecm tuning dsm link Good idea
aem ems engine managment system Dont need this for your goals
high flow denso injectors 660cc might want to go alittle bigger

oil temp
EGR gauge

handling and braking:

You could get by with this, probally even less.

Then whats the point of putting all this money into it?

also for it to be my everyday car(but im going to use it maybe 3-4 times a week)

Well in that case, it won't be your everyday car or daily driver.

Also, trying writing in English so we can understand what you are saying a little better.

dsmlink and the AEM EMS are both engine management systems, pick one (can't use 2 at one time)

don't bother with the a/f gauge, get a wideband

your going to run out of fuel pretty quickly with 660cc injectors. I suggest 750's

I'd recommend that you get a Mitsubishi bolt on turbo if your goal is 350fwhp (front wheel horsepower)

Rewire the 255 pump, get a high flow fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator setup (fpr)

You'll also wanna look into getting a MLS (multi-layered steel) head gasket and ARP head studs

What do you have done to the car now ?

  • Make sure you get the recirculation kit for the SSQV.
  • Do you have emissions testing where you live? If so, don't get the Apexi dp as it's a cat eliminator.
  • We buy exhaust manifolds, not headers (they're for N/A cars).
  • You'll need an AFPR with that 255lph pump.
  • In addition to the short shifter, I'd get the Symborski shift kit and some underhood bushings (either do the bearing mod or get some brass SpeedSource ones).
  • I assume you're going to get all the little things that go with a clutch job (master/slave, OEM tob, etc.)
  • You either get DSMlink or AEM EMS. If you go DSMlink, you'll need to buy an EPROM ECU as well. I would recommend DSMlink unless you have really high goals for your car and have a good bit of money to spend on dyno/tuning time as EMS isn't something everyone can use. If you get DSMlink, you can post up logs and ask for help in their forums or in here. Also, it's much easier to use.
  • If you're going DSMlink or EMS, I'd recommend getting as large of an injector as you can (but not 1600's unless you're going to run E85 or have a very, very powerful car). Somewhere around 1000cc, give or take some, will be great. This way you have a lot of head room for the future, instead of having to buy some new injectors when you make out the 660's.
  • Get a wideband O2 sensor/gauge instead of the air/fuel as it'll tell you a lot more, integrate with DSMlink/EMS, and will help you tune unlike the air/fuel lightshow.
  • Look into getting the RM DSM sway bars as they are proven to clear a 3" catback exhaust (I'm not sure about the ones you have listed).

Pretty sure you don't need an EGR gauge ;)

Start smaller with your list, the Stage's are actually pretty helpful.

wow i couldnt ask for anything more. one question is 720cc enough or should i go ahead with the 1000cc injectors to be safe? sorry i didnt see that mistake with engine managment but im goin ahead with the dsmlink.

thanks guys for the help. Once i start the build ill take plenty of photos to show where im at. one more question do i have to replace my axles since im going to about 350fwhp?

No stronger axles are not necessary yet, at least I was still running the stockers on my first 1g before I totaled it and got an AWD.
And if you go with a bolt on Mitsu turbo, I recommend the EVO III 16g. I hit full boost (22 psi) at 3200 rpm and have logged 41 lb/min (340HP) with room to grow. I plan on 25 psi after I break my new motor in on my old 14b.

There is a new TD06s 18g that is supposed to be a nice turbo for about 400 HP. The new turbine wheel has not been out for very long from what I understand, so there is not alot of reviews yet. It wouldn't be much of an upgrade from mine, but if I had to start over I might start there first. It is $799 Here. I just ran into this info the other day. Good Luck!

If money is not a big issue I would make DSMLink my first purchase. Having the ability to log just about anything and with tuning capabilities on top of that would make for an excellent learning tool throughout your upgrades. Install parts one at a time, log airflow, etc., and see how it affects performance. After you are done with all the easy bolt on mods like air filter, intercooler, and exhaust you would be much more knowledgeable about your car, making the big mods like a new turbo less daunting. Not to mention this method could help eliminate the trouble that could come from intstalling all those parts at one time and having an insurmountable number of bugs to work out of the system. But this is not my car and you have full rights to do whatever you want :thumb:.

As for part suggestions I would recommend looking around... A LOT. There are so many parts for these cars that you can be very particular about the specs you want for each part. If you don't like one aspect of any part in your current list then look for something better. Check out all the great DSMtuner vendors; it is a lot of surfing time, but I enjoy it ;)

Think of it this way;

The smaller the cc injectors you go with, means they will have to work harder to push the fuel into the motor or theres the possibility of maxing them out(which is never a good thing). If you go 1000cc for example, they will run much more efficiently, and you don't have to worry about upgrading them anytime soon. That's the good thing about dsmlink, you have tons of different options.

That was the easiest way I could put it for you.
