vancouver,
i can feel my car downshift everytime it comes to a stop. it shifts harder than regular shifting. it's really annoying, feels like it's gonna break down somehow.

auto 99 fwd here.

You may have a closed throttle switch (part of the TPS) that is bad or misadjusted. Use the search feature, there are other posts on this.

Been searching for 2 hours, and all i get is, closed throttle switch, tps, etc. but it doesn't say how do i adjust it properly or where it's located at. One thread said it's near the gas pedal?

If anyone could kindly point me to where it is and how to fix/adjust it, it would greatly appreciated.
