Well I need some help. My car came with no front cover on the motor and I need to know what bolt goes into this hole. I have been fighting oil problems since day one and now narrowed it down to THIS open hole. PLEASE somebody tell me what goes in here (thread/pitch) so I can resolve this pesky oil leak, its driving me crazy. Thanks all you veteran DSMer's! :hellyeah:

Well I'll be *%&#! Thank you very much. I knew someone would know right off the bat. Much Appreciated! Do you happen to know if that is a front cover hold down bolt (since I have a front cover now but wasn't about to put it on until I fixed this leak) Thanks again!!!

Yes it is a front cover bolt, it helps seal the gasket around the front BS, with out it, it will weep oil.

Thanks guys. I robbed one off an old block from one of the locations that were circled in yellow and put it in with some silicone. Kinda hard to get to with the tensioner in the way but got it in. I am letting it sit and will test drive tonite. I sure appreciate the help on that, since it has NEVER been there since I got the car and always wondered what should be there. I am not surprised since there were alot of things not right from the PO.

Update - Thank you all. That missing bolt fixed my leak and all is good now! Silicone on the bolt dried for a day and set up good. Went for a test drive last night and she stayed nice and dry. Now the track won't kick me out for making a mess and I can put my front cover on! I appreciate the help Wisemen!!!!! :thumb: :D
