So I just got done rebuilding my throttle body, all new seals gaskets, and sparkling clean. Everything was put back together and adjusted properly, but my throttle plate seems to be sticking open a bit. I just removed the CC and put in a non-cruise cable. My original problem was a boost leak and bad shaft seal in the TB. It would idle at around 3k when warmed up and around 1100 cold. After the rebuild upon first start it idled fine at around 750 even after it warmed up. As soon as I revved it up it stuck around 1500. So I closed the throttle by hand and it stayed fine back to around 750. So what it is doing is staying open a bit after it is opened. If closed by hand it idles fine. So I went back over everything. The throttle cable is good with a bit of slack (not preventing it from shutting). TPS is adjusted properly although I have no way of checking the ecu other than CEL's. Throttle springs are wound properly (I made many reference marks). No leaks (pressure tested). The only thing it seems to be is the throttle plate is sticking inside the TB. I scored the plate and it is in exactly as it came out. (checked and rechecked, moved freely) What can possibly be doing this? I'll be pulling it back off later this evening. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
