1G Bypass plate on Throttle Body

Right now the TPS is at .50 .. I wish I marked where the tps was before I took it all apart...the biss screw WAS all the way in before I did anything. So I took it out and put a new oring on it and screwed it almost all the way in and then out about 2 turns... My TPS has screws in it and the fuel rail is in the way of adjusting it. So I have to take the TB back off to adjust.. somebody come to Jersey and help me.. you can crash at my place. Also I have a super afc and with the ignition on engine off the TPS shows . 5 .. and when I put the gas pedal to the floor it gos up to 4.8ish..... quick question. When I'm doing the BLT is my coolant suppose to get pressurized??

Im not an expert...but I don't think so..... I wonder if it could be a bad FIAV cold air valve...maybe BLT pressure is leaking past the FIAV valve into the cooling system somehow? Or a head gasket issue?

I remember that you had a coolant leak in the throttle body awhile back in the thread...and you have a bypass plate of some kind...I assume it is the one that blocks out the coolant controlled fast idle valve correct? Then no more coolant is cycling through the throttle body now correct? But the idle stepper motor ISC is still functional... So if you still have high/surging idle issues, it's from too much air getting past the throttle plate somewhere. It is a possibility the bypass plate was not sealed correctly...are there gaskets on both sides of the plate? I think this is somehow connected to the coolant pressure with the BLT also. Have you removed the throttle body to verify there is no more coolant leaking in there? Just thinking out loud...I disconnected my coolant hoses completely from the throttle body...it's a pain to find the air leaks sometimes. But it doesn't seem normal that the cold cooling system gets pressurized from a BLT. But I'm still a little unfamiliar with all the nuances of these cars. Could be wrong.

Also, I can tell stories about having to redo a head gasket in less than 1000 miles that was done by a shop no less...I do my own now, and very particular with my technique....and there is a block test liquid that will tell if there is combustion byproducts in the coolant. It's a quick way to check if the head gasket is behaving.

The plate that I found in there the previous owner cut a small piece of can and covered the bypass hole... So I bought the bypass plate and a new gasket . And I sealed the other side with a dealer. There is absolutely noboost leak I can hear. I fill it up to 15psi and it will hold for many minutes... I checked the coolant once right after the BLT and there was pressure.. I've also checked the oil and I don't see any coolant mixxing which would be signs of a bad head gasket... THE CAR IDLED FINE before I messed with the TB. The only reason I did mess with it was because the throttle would stick... Then I found the coolant leaked in the TB and gummed up .. so I took all the sensors off except the screw that tells the computer that the throttle bodie is closed.. also I didn't even know it had boost leaks when it ran ok with the gummed up tb.. now I found them all and it surges.
