Hello I have a problem with my idle I finished my engine rebuild 2.3 2g 7 bolt turbo Holset hx40 with bep housing these are other modifications:

Gsx 1998 2GB

1998 ECU
1.9c Ceddy bigs mod maps

comp stage 2 cams
2.3 stroker
hx40 turbo
ported stock manifold
Gredy type rs bov recirculated
o2 with 38mm tial pr
fic 1050cc inyectors
walbro 255
fpr fuel lab
slowboyracing short route FMIC
aem wb


the problem is the following

my idle is stable but stopped when i shifting mi and the rpm lower the car stoped

i can see in the wb that when the car decelerate the wb red --- but when it comes to idle just then change to 10.2 to 10.1 and then also up 7.14 5.15 idle

i check boost leak

o2 change
check tps and adjust
check and change new isc
change the throttle body

I do not know where to go to solve the problem

i chech every steps and nothing my idle is fine when the car is stoped only have the problem when it is run and shifting.

What throttle body? Which tps?

When I had issues with my car dying it was because my idle switch didn't work. After being oblivious to the cause for years I learned about the necessity and fixed it really easily in DSMlink by using the simulate Idle Switch function. Is your idle switch functioning?

Your symptoms match this scenario pretty well.

Dsmlink helped my idle too nice tool, couldnt figure it out, now its right.

yes is funtioning well i check this with the evoscan option and i set the rpm at 750 rpm

the engine stall only with the load 3000 4000 5000 rpm

the throtle body is a stock 98 i check today now boost leak and nothing mi idle is -16 and deceleration -21 in idle stall only with load if dont pass 3000 rpm idle down fine but in load he idle stall and whe wastegate mark 10.0
