I am looking for a way to be able to find oem part numbers. I'm aware of the PC program CAPS, however I'm on a Mac currently, and my tuning laptop is a Mac as well.
I am often in need of a bunch of small parts such as gaskets, etc for my many DSM projects I have ongoing. Currently I am stuck ordering through a shop here, which takes extra time, and I'm sure is an inconvenience with little payoff since the order total is small. I like sites such as mitsubishiparts.net, however they (and others) do not provide a part number, only the name. This would be fine except the Mitsubishi naming scheme is a bit non-intuitive, and sometimes downright confusing. It would be swell to have a local Mitsubishi, but they're shut down. We had a in-state Mitsubishi join the local AWD forum as a vender and had a great parts guy and nice discounts to boot! but he is gone and now so are they.
Searching "part number" here results in 5 pages of "looking for __ part number," and I'm wondering if we couldn't implement a system of search. I realize this is impractical, likely impossible.
At any rate, if anyone can give me a heads up for a Mac-based system I'd be indebted.
If someone has the time, I'm looking for a few oem part numbers for a 1997 GSX.
Drivers side engine mount - A/T
Passenger side engine mount - A/T
2G dipstick
Fan blade, drivers side fan
Gasket, oil return line at 7-bolt oil pan
Gasket, oil return line at turbo, 16g style
Gasket, oil return line at turbo, t-25 style
Thank you
