Help! FIAV bypass, alternative solution.

Hey tuners,

I was completing the task of bypassing the FIAV unit, by removing the freeze plug on the housing and turning the spring cap to bottom out the plunger.

Here's the issue. I broke the notches to turn the valve.

My question is, with the screw broken, can I use a metal
Epoxy to just cover up the passage? So that way, plunger can kind of move, but air won't travel to the TB. I don't mind if it's permanent, I just want it done the "quick and dirty" way to get rolling again. Let me know guys and gals! Thanks!

Inside your tb, I'd be worried about it breaking loose and going through the engine.

I've always blocked the passage with Ultra Grey RTV with great success. I've used it on about 5 DSM TBs over the years and never had it come loose.
