So I researched the two but can't find out which is better to have, I mostly saw threads on 1gs and I don't know if it is any different cause I have a 2g.

The bypass lets you keep the isc and the blockoff doesn't.

which do most people go with?

What are the good and bad of both.

Thanks.

Well if you are keeping your accesories or anything that causes your rpms to slighly change during idle, then you should keep your isc/iac. The bypass plate only blocks the fiav but not the isc or iac whatever you want to call it. The block off plate blocks both of them.

I don't mean to steal the tread , but what are the benefits from doing this mod? When I hear mods, I am all over it. I might just get it done on my ride.

Impressive , so little could do so much. I got some scrap aluminum laying around, tomorrow I'm going to star making a plate to bypass/block the fiav. let's see how that works for me.
