Headlight Wiring, 1ga and 1gb...need some help please!

I have a 90 right now...uses the sealed beam H4666 bulbs. I took the entire front end off because I have a 1gb front end that is going on.

Now, with the 1gb headlights, I noticed that there is only ONE plug on the back with 3 wires coming off of it. I am assuming one is ground, one is for low beams and one is for high beams.

On the stock headlight wiring on my car, there are 3 wires...one is red/white, one is red/blue and one is solid red (I believe solid red anyways). Which of these is ground, low and high?

My question resides only in the wiring portion of this....not the entire front end conversion. Does anyone know which colors go to which lights on the 1ga AND 1gb??

You know i tried looking at the VFAQ and there was no info on this. My 90 is at my shop and i can't look at it today. But i wanted to ask... Did you try getting a light tester or a volt meter and turning on the different light switches when the 90 was hooked up to the stock head light? Then you know what the stock harness is for, then splice the harness for the 92-94.
on a side note, I want to say the 92-94 had 4 wires didn't it? one ground for low, one ground for high, then the white/red set up... I can't remember. Either way you can test for the power and make it work...i hope that helps

i did the same 1ga to 1gb swap. looks so much better without the flip-ups. the black wire on the 1gb lights is your low beam. that connectes to the red/white wire. the red/blue from 1gb connects to red/blue on the 1ga connector.This is your 12 v constant. the red on 1gb connects to the red on your 1ga plug..that connection is your high beam the headlight system on the 1ga is power constant. the grounding comes through the column switch for your lighting. so the red/blue is your 12 volt constant. there is always power to the headlights. the only way it grounds is through the light switch itself.

Red/Blue - Power (common to both high and low)
Red/White - Ground Low beam
Red - Ground High beam
