Need Wiring help please.

Hey everyone, i Am in need of some help please,

The situation: The ignition on the car is busted and has to be started with a screwdriver, The Ignition switch is still good the the ignition assembly is gone busted off.

I know everyone and there mama's hate the concept of a push button start but, this is what i have to do in the meantime until i can get another ignition, I got another another ignition switch from the junk yard so i didnt have to ruin the one i have so my question is what wires are what, like the accessories and power for the ignition? I have looked for a couple weeks now and found one some place but i cant find it again so any help would be appreciative. Thanks.

On the Vfaq it says white wire is the 12v constant?? i dont have a wihte wire though? This is what i got off of Vfaq for the wire colors i have that matched what it said.

The wires on the ignition switch are colored:
black/white--Ignition 12v
black/yellow--starter
blue--accessory
black/red--
black
blue/red


Can anyone tell me what the wires are please

Black/Red's probably hot, Black's probably ground, just take a multimeter to it to find out.

Service manual will run you between $20 and $60 depending on the day. The CD can be bought from Forced Performance, but remember it's a backup CD.

I have the manual already, but i will not have access to it until Monday i left it in a buddy car.

Ok so i got smart and looked on the back of the ignition switch, and it has all the wires marked

Blk/yel--start
blu/red--Ig 2
red/blk--R
Blk/wht--Ig 1
blk--AM
blue- Acc

So im assuming R is for run, what would black be?? Am? Please help asap thanks.
