AFC wiring please help!

ok so im trying to install my SafcII :mad: and i have 3 sets of instructions i pulled off the net (afc directions unfortunetly in japanese) so between the three sets i've hooked up all the wires that are the same between all three if anyone out there knows the colors that corrospond with the colors on the ecu please i need your help this is taking me far to long. I know this much:
Red= power
Black= 2nd ground (is this tapped on the same wire just further up than the 1st ground?)
Brown= 1st ground
Green= RPM
Gray= Throttle
Purple= Knock (if this wire even suppose to be used?)
Pink= Air- fuel to ecu
Orange= Air to fuel to sensor (by sensor thats the o2 sensor correct?)
Well any help is much appreciated

Those are the instructions that everyone uses. If you can't figure it out from that then I believe that you should let a shop perform the install. There is no other way to explain it. They even have picstures of the exact pinout for each wire, not much easier than that.

well just for future searched if they come across this for help them this is much better write up.

Red - Power Supply.
Green - RPM Signal.
Purple - Knock Signal.
Gray - Throttle Signal.
Brown - Ground #1.
Black - Ground #2.
Pink - Airflow Signal (output)
Orange - Airflow Signal (input)

*IMPORTANT*
Connect the brown wire to the ECU side from the black wire. Example - ECU - Brown wire - Black wire - Rest of wire harness.

They should be connected at least 1 cm. apart.

Now for the fun part. This is where it gets a little tricky, the way that I am going to explain it is that you will be hooking at the wires as if you are looking at the way that they plug into the ECU. Also, I will tell you left to right. So if I say bottom row #6, you will count in (from the left to the right) 6 wires. Remember, these are counted from the left to the right.

Take the small ECU plug, this is where the power and the ground get hooked up. Remember the note about the grounds, good, let's move on.

The wires that you need are #1 & #2 bottom row.

Now the middle sized plug. This is where the RPM signal is. #4 top row.

Now the large plug. Throttle is #7 bottom row, Knock is #9 top row, and Airflow is #10 top row, this is the one that you are actually going to cut. The easiest way for me to tell you is the pink wire is going to be hooked up to the ECU side and the orange wire is going to be hooked up to the wire harness side.

That covers wiring.

You are going to want to do the initial start up. I will explain that too.

1) Check all of your connections.

2) Turn on the ignition switch (without starting the engine), make sure that the display is functioning properly and there aren't any burning smells coming from the AFC.

3)Initial Setup.

*IMPORTANT* Do NOT start car until initial startup is completed!

1) Go to ETC. mode. Set Sensor type to KARMAN.

2) Setting the number of cylinders, I have mine set to 2. You can try 4 but that only gave me 1/2 of my RPM's.

3) Checking the throttle sensor voltage by going to Sensor check and checking votage at closed position and WOT.

4) Setting the throttle sensor type. Select Car Select. When the throttle sensor voltage is 0 V to 1 V fully closed in the previous step, set the arrow in the up position. When the throttle voltage is 3 V to 5 V, set the arrow in the down position. Whe the arrow is set to the ** position there is no correction being made by the throttle opening. I have this set to the up position.

5) Self Learning the throttle opening. Hold the throttle closed for 10 sec. Then hold the throttle fully open for 10 sec.

6) Turn off the ignition switch. This will store all of the set parameters.

7) Correcting the knock signal. Start the engine and perform warming-up.
After completion of warming-up, select Setting, and correct the knock signal. This was a pita and I never actually got it done. I use my palm for knock and timing anyways.
