for some reason my afc got reset and now my car doesnt really move. it revs up fine and all but when actally moving it produces no power. if someone could please point me in the right direction to tuning this thing that would be great. i read the RRE tips but i didn't exactly understand them. please help.

Do you have a logger? If so, do some pulls and figure if your getting any knock and you might get a general idea where you may need to add or remove fuel across the afc rpm range.

I'm guessing you dont remember your old settings.

What turbo are you running? How much boost?, i see in your mods that you have full exhaust, fmic, and a 255 fuel pump.

definitly dont remember my last settings because i did it while my car was on jacks stands cause i did a tranny swap. and im investing in a logger gotta save some cash though. uhmm stock 14b turbo running about 18psi

i did change the cylinders cause it said 6 so i put it on 4 but then thers the arrow and i dont know where to point it. its like up or down slope i dont know. ughh i hate computers.
That is the throttle setting you have a progressive throttle which means up and to the right.

Did you select karmen vortex type airflow sensor? Other than that I cant really help, I see that you have aftermarket cams and you may need to start tuning the settings, if you dont have a logger best bet is to find someone local who does, or get the car towed to a shop where they can tune the afc. Also I have heard of some people having to put their cyl #s on 8 cylinder to make everything happy, I forget why but I do remember this. Maybe you should search on this before you try it.

ok good thats where i put it. can you help me with any other settings to get it drivable to get it to a shop for a tune?

I'm confused here......You are running stock injectors and you are going to have it tuned? Not really a worth while investment. If you have the base settings correct, as explained by Auto RS T, you will be all ready to go. There is no correction needed to run stock injectors.

Save your tuning money and get a logger. :thumb:

Then you have another problem, such as bas plugs / wires, boost leak, blow HG, clogged fuel filter, base timing off, etc. I would start with the plugs, wires and a boost leak first and then go from there.

Good call on the "other problem" spyderturbo007. I guess that means there were two different problems.

I don't think either one of us saw this one coming though! I guess we should have asked what work was recently performed.

but maybe you guys could help me out and let me know what cable is messed up. at first i couldent get into 1st or 2nd. but then somehow it fixed it self. and then i couldent get into 5th or reverse. then it went back to the 1st the 2nd problem. then eventually on my way home to fix it starting out in 2nd gear just got too intense for the clutch and it just smoked itself away.

Assuming your cables snapped.

I will say why not? When my cables broke I installed a short shifter and base bushings I got the cable bearings too, I haven't installed them yet because the cables came with new grommets.:p . If you dont have a logger I would do that instead. :thumb: Nice ride.
