I just purchaced a used Apexi S-AFC and I have it hooked up http://www.taboospeedshop.com/SAFC1G.htm with that diagram and one...it doesn't even turn on(check the wires 2 times) two, my car idols like poop, and third, there are 3 extra wires that the link does is not used. Is there something else I am not seeing?

go here:http://www.roadraceengineering.com/newafcsetting.htm, and look at the bottom at the troubleshooting part, there is a plug inside that can come loose, thats what happened to my safc 1, and my dumb ass went and bought a safc2 before i saw that site. and i believe that you should have 2 or 3 extra wires, a blue wire, and i can't remember the other colors.

thanks, but i did just that and checked all the wires...everythings in tact with click splicing things and still....no power what so ever....maybe i just bought a lemon....

do the lights on the buttons light up??? not the screen, the buttons?? cause mine the buttons would light up, but not the screen, cause the plug on the inside of it wasn't plugged in all the way. also, try splicing it into the power for like the cig. lighter just to make sure it works, and if that works, then you spliced the wrong wire on the ecu, not saying that your incompetent or whatever, just trying to give you other variables.
