afc problems

Hey I just installed a s-afc I had laying around in my 1g nd I'm getting no air flow reading?? I'm also having a problem wit the afc reseting itself everytime I turn off the car.. So I have to set it to 4 cyclinder app everytime i start my dsm.. Any ideas?? I got the instructions off of vfaqs..

well i would make sure the wiring is hook up right. if any thing the safc is messed up and you may need to buy a new one and if that the case sorry man.
