Heading To The Local Scrap Yard Hoping I Can Find A Motor To Build On The Side While Im Driving Around About How Much Do A 4g63t Go For ????

at a junk yard it should be pretty cheap because they know u have no way of knowing if thats a running engine and they have no clue of its condition or sometimes even miles.

so i would say dont get anything over 800. thats if you find one. They might have it on there computer on how much they want that engine to go for or the guy there might throw up a number. try say something like WHAT?!?!? that much for that engine "F" that and walk away, most the time they will quote lower. if not just come back another time and get it. or just try barter with him a lil bit...LOL

I found a 6-bolt for $250. The crank turns and everything. It was gone over and was given a go ahead for a rebuild. Who cares about miles if you're going to rebuilt it. I got the block/head, intake manifold, water neck, turbo, 02 housing, valve cover, CAS, everything for a 2g swap for $250. No one around here (Port Huron, MI) knows that those go for big bucks elsewhere. I'd say I got a steal. :dsm:
