headers question

I am thinking about upgrading my stock turbo to a 16g, but I just put a new exhaust on my car (Apexi N1 3'') and i was wondering if I could put a header on my car /w the 16g turbo

also can someone tell me what else i need beef up so i dont blow my motor apart

First off, turbo cars have a manifold not a header. As for upgrading the manifold, I would just port the manifold and call it good. While your at it you could also port your o2 housing. For the power levels your cars going to see on that 16G a ported 2G manifold will be more than enough. Besides a nice tubular manifold is going to run you around $500+. Which would be better spent else where and with your current mod list.
