OK. I looked and couldn't find an answer to this question.

All the headers that I have seen have really smooth flowing pipes. In addition to keeping a smooth flowing path for exhaust gases, are the tubes suppose to be equal in length from the head to where they meet at the turbo.

I don't know if this is a moronic question but I'm curious to know.

It helps spool in bigger turbos when your using tubular manifolds.
When one pulse goes, the next one has a certain amount of time before it hits the same area of exit as the last pulse.
Very similar to an NA engine with pulse timing, but completely different.
