so on my bulid i have 85.5 mm pistons and .02 bore what is a good head gasket i need and where do i find it? im looking to order it as soon as possible so the thanks for the help

Pick up a Felpro or Mitsu (OEM) composite gasket. You can buy/order the Felpro from your local parts store, or order the OE gasket from your local dealership. You could also order either from one of our supporting vendors here.

that will work if its .02 bored over i herd local shops have just standerd bore gaskets

Most head gaskets have a bore size that is slightly larger than the actual cylinder bore. So, even after the gasket compresses and pushes in a bit, there's still clearance. Either composite gasket that mentioned will work with a .020" overbore.

Nope, they're two different types. MLS (multi layer steel) and composite. Composite is what our engines used from the factory. If you want to know more about the differences, feel free to do a quick search about the two here. There's plenty of dicussion on each.

You can buy whatever gasket you find on the web, or you can take my advice. I already mentioned which two I'd recommend. I wouldn't recommend an MLS unless you have freshly machined surfaces.
