Let me start off by saying this MY CAR DOES NOT OVER HEAT!

I think it's burning coolant or I'm just being paranoid and didn't burp all the air out.

Anyway, today I bought one of those funnels that has its own radiator cap and let the car run with the heat switched to max (but not on) and let the air bubbles keep going. Well they stopped coming out and the coolant just seemed to push out and get sucked back in when I would squeeze the radiator hose.

But yesterday when I got to work I noticed steam rolling from the over flow and it was down fairly low. After work I took off the cap and noticed the coolant was a BIT low. Took about half of a small funnel to fill it to the top.

I did however notice my car had a small bit of white smoke that would start at 2000 RPM and stop at 2500 RPM.

So what do you guys think? I'm thinking that there may be a small hole in the gasket but hoping I am just over thinking this. The car drives fine and does not over heat but I know that means very little.

I plan on compression testing it, but I'll need to borrow someones compression tester.

Any other ideas? I'm just hoping I am over looking something stupid and just can't think straight because it's my current daily.

First thing first, compression test and see results! put a long white straw or something of that nature
to see if you have any liquids in each cylinder. just to rise the front of the car on jacks again and see if you get any more air out again.

Oil looks normal thank god, and I don't see any signs of a leak.

I'll see if I can find someone with a tester and post the results. I am really hoping that I just over reacted LOL.
