its kinda weird just got car cant figure out problem wont idle since it over loads and dies running 7.6 at idle 10.3 when on pedal it hits 5500 falls on its face but it will go to like 6 if u throttle it like a quarter of the way would my profec mess wit this
 
well got cams on way 264 and got bigger turgo just wanna wait til the fuel gets up graded and that requires tuning cause everything will be set and ready for well over 500 whp its internals are built for 800
 
I tried reading this thread, I really did. The ONLY thing I could come up with is..where the hell did the "10gs" go?
What does innovate wideband used for guage only mean? What's the gauge hooked up to?
 
LOL you said "the only thing stock in the motor is cams crank" how is it built for 800hp then???? You gonna need alot to be set for over 500 hp. I hope you getting bigger fuel lines, dual pumps, meth or E85, At the minimum 1250cc injectors, at least a 60-1 turbo, def a 4 bolt rear end.
 
It's a boost leak. My bet is your turbo peaks at 5500 generating enough force to make the leak bad enough to gag your engine with too much fuel. If you're leaking air after it passes through the MAF sensor, you're leaking metered air and that will undoubtedly make your car run rich.

A stock regulator with a Walbro 255 will also do what you're describing as the regulator fails. Which that combination inevitably causes...

You'd know it if it was fuel cut.

Bad spark plug wires fail the worst at high RPMs. But I don't even know if you're running coil-on-plug or the factory coil to offer better advice.

Bypass the profec and see if it still does it?

I didn't know Jafro was a member on here. I have been posting his videos for other people to use. Listen to him, he knows his stuff, and watch all his videos, you will learn something.

For the record on my GST I had a Profec boost controller, worst thing I ever bought, it's a piece of junk and never worked right. Switched to a manual boost controller and a ton of my problems went away.
 
well finally found out my cars problem, it was out of time LOL

do they hum more than a normal timing belt first one i ever had
 
not sure what the problem is. car does not leak boost. the timing belt is on right, plus the light reads right on 5 before. the car runs great all the way up to 4500 rpm, and like in first if it spins them it revs out to 7000 rpm. if it dont it falls out at 4500 like every other gear.
 
What are you running for a tuning device? Any fuel mod's? how much boost are you running and what turbo? Need some more info to help you pin point the problem sounds like something that can be resolved easy just need more adequit info
 
I see sounds lile something on the electical side is loose, I suggest to go through all of the sensors and make sure they are tight, do you get wheel hop when you spin them?

The light he's referring to is his timing light.

Op, are you hitting fuel cut? Does it feel like someone turns the key off and back on for a split second at wot?
Or is it studdering at 4500?

no way only pushin stock boost and i would not spin like i do

more like a studder i can barley and i mean barley step on gas and it will rev out
 
lots of motor mods like 20 over 8.5.1 pistons hbeams ss valves valve prings u know the stuff but stock turbo and fuel system stock computer got a wideband that is a bung in down pipe wi led digital gauge im running like 7.6 at idle but when floored it reads 10.3

If you used proper grammar, and spelling, along with complete ideas formed into proper paragraph/sentence structure, we could help you.

From what i gather, running stock fuel, and tuning, you need to start off with a boost leak test.
 
awdtsi90built, please use proper spelling, grammar, and spell check. Use complete sentences. No one really understands what you are actually saying. Continual disregard for the rules will result in your future posts/threads being deleted and/or locked.

Also, stop making multiple threads on the same subject in multiple forums. Don't use the Hangout for asking tech questions.
 
Long shot but worth a quick look. Take the oil cap off and inspect the cams as much as possible. If you see anything at all, remove the cover and look for a wiped lobe. I hope you don't find anything but if you do, you'll have your answer.
