I recently got my car back after my mechanic got it running decent due to past owner not knowing what he was doing. Its a 95 gst with a 6 bolt swap out of a 93 talon tsi (16g turbo at 10psi, 550cc, safc ii, hks bov, thermal cat back exhaust w/ gutted cat). I recently changed all belts, spark plugs, water pump, clutch, oil (engine and transmission). I need o2 sensors (upstream and downstream) so running very rich but i been driving a little because of terrible gas mileage. The car normally idles around 800rpm when cold and warms up to 1000rpm but after driving idles at 1200 or sometimes 1500rpm. Today i drove it and the rpm's dropped low and i didnt have much acceleration at all. I would have to go almost half throttle to look like im barely moving when normally the car takes off without even getting on it. I pulled over to check it out and its idling at 400-500rpm. Drove it home and let it cool off and started it up and ran normal for me to back out and pull back in(let my brother out the driveway). Then let it sit for maybe 30mins and started it up and it idled normal for 10secs then went back to the 400rpm with no acceleration again. Any help?
 
Wouldn't having no input from an 02 sensor keep him in open loop all the time? I would think that would be the main issue...

Or its going in to closed loop somehow and is just way out of wack also due to the 02 sensor issue.
 
Well the car seems to be running again. Heard a couple things it could be but i bought the upstream o2 sensor yesterday but the guy i bought the car from cut the wires at the o2 sensor. Now my question is, where does the other half start at so i can try to hook this up? Pictures of where it starts would b very helpful. Thanks
