Car has no Pick up

I've had my car for awhile now and the pick up on the car has just gone way down hill...Its soo bad that i have to floor it after each shift...and when i start in 1st gear...it takes a moment to get the rpm's up and it just barely goes anywhere...i recently changed the plugs and wires, and put a new fuel filter in as well...but it hasn't made a difference...its sad that i could lose a drag race to a school bus...heck even a semi...i need some help...any suggestions?

check to see if your pcv valve is plugged up take it off and make sure it chakes and u can hear it that means it is clean. I had a simliar problem once and that solved it.
