The time when I should install my PTE T3 GT30r is getting closer and closer. I just want to go over some things before I start digging in.
As far as oil feed goes, I know I need to restrict the oil a bit (since I'm getting oil from the oil filter housing.) I found this neat little fitting that Slow Boy Racing makes that reduces oil flow: http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=2287&
I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with that fitting? I've serached and never really found someone's experience with it. I just don't want it to be too restrictive and starve my turbo for oil. Or there's a PTE restrictor fitting: http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=18920&cat=336&page=1
Anyone have experince with these?

And I assume this oil return line from ExtremePSI will work fine? http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=17785&cat=336&page=1 Wouldn't it take two 45 degree bends to make it to the oil pan. One 45 bend off the turbo and another 45 degree bend off the oil pan?

Also, as far as coolant feed and return lines go, can I use some OEM hard lines with the banjo bolts and new crush washers on the PTE T3 GT30r? And just use some tubing to connect it all?

I want to make sure everything will work. I want this install to go perfectly once my stuff from Shearer arrives. :D
Thank you!

The PTE turbos come with oil restrictors. but as i found out yesterday they typicaly send you a -3 an fitting with is totaly rare. thankfull RRE had one -4 to -4 90 deg adapter left to get me though this install, they also told me that when they order from PTE the request -4 fitting with the restrictors installed.

As for water lines, this is what im doing. OE 2g block water return on back with OE 1G line on front. and an AGP oil return on the bottom. do a thead search for GT 13 Instal question, my pics are there.

hope this helps!

I got a fitting that came with my turbo, but there is no way it's a restrictor fitting. Comparing it to the pictures of the PTE restrictor fitting on ExtremePSI's website, it doesn't look like a restrictor fitting. Might just have to get one.

You might want to reconsider running oil from the oil filter housing if you have your bs removed, even if you have a restrictor. I bought the oil filter/restrictor from fp and they said even with the restrictior to run oil off the head if your balance shafts are removed. Your definetly going to want to get a filter too. fp has a really nice one if you want to check it out.

On my 1G I used the stock OEM water lines. I had to bend them a little to fit but it did work.

I built my own oil return line cutting off the ends of a 1g oil return line and connecting rubber hosing between the two cut off flanges. It seems to work good. If I was to do it over though I would get a 45 deg rubber bend from evco.
