No it was never made, however some have converted the GST to awd...

that what I thought but coulded get proof thxs couse I was going to buy gsx eclipse from this guy ....but when he said it was convertible I was like that must not be a gsx ..
so I ask him if it was an GST he said that gsx is what on the back of the car .
he must not now that much about his car but Im still going to take a look at it on friday.

Yeah just make sure the drivetrain and the transfer case and such is there so you know its AWD.

just scroll down to What is a Spyder? and read up! you might just read the entire article and you'll learn a lot, i know i find stuff on here that i didn't know thats pretty interesting... if the guy still claims its a Spyder GSX then do a visual check. All you have to do is crawl under the rear end of the car and check for a driveshaft and a center diff. on the rear subframe.

I'm guessing that it just has a GSX badge. If it had been converted, seems like he would've mentioned that when you brought this up.

I've always loved the thought of converting a spyder to awd. If I had money I would buy a spyder and do that. Take a lot of time and patients and money . I also see people taking eclipse spyders and converting them to look like 97' Talons. Which I really like the way they look. I think it's sharp

I'm just finishing up my awd swap on my spyder. cant wait till i get it out on the road.

The Spyder is supposed to be the easiest of the AWD swaps.

its easy to find out just look under the car, if it has a driveshaft and a rear differential then its awd, simple as it get.

then in craigslist.. had an other gsx eclipse 3,800 black
that one was an scam..........................
