another thing, it is possible. it only could be done on spyders. why? think about it. the eclipse spyders engine faces the opposite direction and the evo motor will bolt right to it.

What sorry but a turbo spyder is set up the same way:thumb:

It is easier to put an Evo motor into a 420a car than one with a 4g63, just because the transmission is at least on the correct side. It still isn't the easiest thing to do.

To swap one into a GSX, it's even harder. For that reason, (like has been stated many many many times already in this thread, don't try to swap out the 4g63 from the GSX for a 4g63 from an Evo.

it will work on all 2g rs and gs due to the fact that everything is backwards.
thats one good thing of having a 420a motor.the thing is it really isn't worth it.lot's of money and time
 
I just wanted to point out that if the orignal poster or anyone else in this thread have doubts about how fast a 4G63T will take them just look around this site for 5 SECONDS! my car for example has over 300hp on a 1g. and ziggogsx on the first page is a friend of mine and he has a 2g gsx exactly like the op's car and he has over 300hp and we didn't need to motor swap.

Go on youtube if need be and look up dsm vids almost all of them have over 300hp.

To the point a 300hp dsm is one of the easiest things to do.

It doesn't matter if the tranny is in the other side, you still cant use any parts from it... YOU BASICALLY HAVE TO SWAP EVERYTHING FROM AN EVO.:banghead:

ok i mean just stay with the motor he got and that he can beat evos wit bolt ons and a tune is that better?

bro... you should do your bolt on mods. there cheaper and easy too. this site sells a book to go step by step, i got it and im not the fastest 2g by any means but i have beaten a few evo's just by doing what this book told me as per upgrades. im all tuned and a daily driver too. and im just touching the tip of the iceburgh!

Are you referring to the upgrade path guide or is there an actual book...?
