When i rev to 4500rpm or higher in neutral i hear this loud grinding sound, sounds almost like a blender. I have a full 3in TBE and this grinding sound is louder. I never really had this issue until a few months after i put in my ACT 2100 clutch kit and ACT lightweight flywheel. Is the sound I'm hear clutch drag or something else. Any help will due.

Thanks.

Also if i push in the clutch when this sound occurs i can feel like a vibration in the pedal.

With lightweight flywheels there will be sort of a chatter to it. But nothing that you'll be able to hear over any exhaust. Possibly the tob catching the fingers on the pressure plate. Does it only make the sound in nuetral? What was your pressure plate torqued down to?

my friends honda did that and we changed the pressure plate and throw out bearing. it hasnt made that noise anymore. maybe by us doing that we tightened a bolt that was loose.

I think its either my clutch isnt adjusted right or the throw out bearing is bad, because when i start sometimes i can hear a light scraping sound until i tap the clutch then it goes away.

try an extended clutch push rod. it sounds to me like its a wore out pressure plate. if its oem you want extedy makes the oem clutch in the eclipse.

The scraping noise is your TOB. I have had the same problem twice before. And you got me on the OP. I can't think of anything that would be that loud WITHOUT being in gear. Something with the input shaft? TOB rattling on it?? Sorry I couldn't be any better help.

Its an ACT 2100 plate with a street disc and ACT lightweight flywheel and oem TOB, its been on the car for maybe 3000 miles, before that i had the Exedy kit and it didn't make the sound. I think my clutch is not adjusted correctly. Thanks everyone for trying to help me diagnose this issue.

Maybe a clutch spring popped out and it's griding itself and your new clutch to oblivion? Or maybe the starter gear is hung up? Hate to be the bearer of bad news but since no one else threw those up I thought I might.
Also, mine own car sounded like a metal lathe when sitting in neutral as well. Looking at my clutch, some of the springs looked shiny and flat as if they were rubbing/grinding, and I found aluminum shavings in the bellhousing. Also, tob was stiff. Maybe we share the same problem?
