Grinding sound low rpm 2G

Hi all, I just got a 95 GST and when I rev in the lower rpm range 2k-4k I get this loud vibrating noise almost like a grind. Seems to get louder at higher RPM and right around shifting. Recently developed a lifter tap too, but I dont think thats anything relevant to this issue, though that did occur very randomly. I'm more so worried about the grind because it sounds like its coming around the flywheel and trying to avoid crank walk if at all possible.

Anyone else have this issue?

check down your exhaust and see if anything's loose there. Have a check over all brackets and make sure they're nice and tight.

When I first got my 2g I found out the idiot eliminated the cat with a bullshit advance exhaust pipe and had nothing there to hold it. So it made alot of vibrations.

I think I have the same/similar problem with my 1g. While moving at low rpms (2k-4k), I will hear a LOUD vibrating/grinding sound. If I push the clutch in AND put it in neutral AND come to a complete stop, it will still do it for a couple of seconds, then just stop. Because of this, I'm thinking that it is on the engine side. Let me know if you fixed it or not.
