grinding sound from wheel

my 93 talon has been sitting for about 6 months, due to engine problems. i finally got it going again, and now every time the rear driver's side wheel goes around, at one point it makes a grinding noise. i barly heard it while driving, but from outside the car it's really noticable. any ideas what this could be caused by?

Could be a wheel bearing or maybe a dust shield rubbing on your rotor. Take the wheel off and turn the hub by hands and find out from there.

That was the prob. I had with mine.

Mine does the same thing, its the hub assembly.

I have the same prob my caliper is frozen and the rotor is warped so it rubs at one spot. I know the caliper is frozen because the rotor is always rusty.

Normally after sitting for 6 months, you get a bit of rust on the break discs. This will cause a nice rubbing sound as you put it. Check your break lines etc to make sure they are working properly and your breaks are disengaging and take her out for a good drive. It should clear up. Mines doing the same due to an engine swap. If you dont check the breaks tho they discs can turn red hot and warp really bad. Just my .02
