ok is it better to have a bov (greddy type rs) to recirculate or for it to go out in the atmosphere?

well having if recirculate will help in keeping you turbo spooled during shifts!!
But if you go atmosphere it wont run right inless you get a MAFT!

it isn't really a good or bad thing, in my opinion!

A MAFT is a Mass Air Flow Translator. It is most often used with a GM mass air flow sensor in DSMs. this allows the MAF to be after the BOV making it safe to run it to atmosphere. Think about it this way. The air in your intake has already been measured by the ECU and has the correct amount of fuel ready for it. If you vent to atmosphere you are loosing that metered air and thus making your car run rich. Either works though. Good luck with your decision
