ok so i wanted to fix this venting thing every 1 is yelling about ### im venting

so what i can understand is that the car needs the air it is not getting and more from the BOV

i covered up the whole where my stock BOV blew into

sooo can i but a custom mini filter to replace the hole

### i jst got 1 in from KandN and am going to put it in

so should that give it the air it needs

the custom filter is like 1/10 the size of a regular filter

So you put on a new bov and didnt recirculate it. Now the check engine light is off that had been on. Do you know what the code was for check engine light?? I know if you dont recirculate the bov it will cause the car to run richer than normal. What you could do is just go to the hardware store and but some sort of tubing for like 5 bucks and run a tube with some hose clamps from the bov to the intake pipe.

STOP you cant just put a filter in your intake AFTER your maf. There's a reason that maf sensor there! and if you just open up that opening you'll be getting unmetered air. And above that you should recirculate your bov to have your car run properly. It has been beaten to death and you can find several threads telling you why venting your bov is wrong.

yes yes i read ## thread hating on newbs like me and asking about venting

ok but the BOV i got has like a curved tip
um like a trupet would
so i could but the stock 1 back on
plus that tip has holes -_-

any ways
to get to the nearest autozone
i have to hit the free way
so my car has to wait a lil
ill try to find what ever i can to send the air back

any 1 have any more ideas

LOL exactly what nodelite said u dont have a gm maf. well your profile says you dont have anything for that matter update that please. but yes put on the old bov for now unitl you get some sort of tube for it. you really dont want to spend fat cash on a new motor when all you need is a 5 dollar tube.

uuummm
ooooo
well this BOV is kinda
how do u say

###### rigged

so its glued on
there to stay

so i have to go buy that hose
its gonna happen tomarrow for sure

but my car hasnt been stubbling or what people say it will be doing
so i will try ever tube i can find

and i hope the car doesnt blow up

### it is full of 100 octane gas

big boom *_*

Run the stock bov for now, sell the crap bov you have on your car and but a greddy or hks and recirculate it.

1. Buy a recirculating fitting for the type RS bov.
2. Use any hose and clamps to recirculate.
3. done
