Gready knock-off BOV

Hey guys, has anyone ever had problems with the Gready knock off BOV? I have mine on from the FMIC kit from PR and Im pretty sure its boost leaking and making ALOT of noise...just get a something else? Also I have A BLITZ BOV but its not set up for the hard pipe. Suggestions?

I tried this, removed the small spring and the bov leaked like crazy at idle, but when I have both springs I get compressor surge, I havent decided to get a ngr diaphram or go hks ssqv.

Can we get some more info on this? Does it only work beneficialy if the larger spring is removed?

I have both springs in mine, and both vacuum ports connected. I did the single spring mod for a while but found out it starts leaking at like 5psi with only 1 spring. Put both springs back in and it holds 25+ psi.

With both vaccum ports connected I get zero flutter. Heres a quick video just cruising. Yes its recirculated

^^ Did you connect both vaccum ports with a "T" to the intake or how did you do it?

When I tried the single spring it was leaking even at idle, so put it back and today I took it out for a spin at 9psi no problem.

Top nipple goes to a vacuum source on the intake manifold.

Bottom nipple goes to a boost source.

Dang, I am really glad you posted this Kyle. I've been having an issue with mine getting it to hold with the 1 spring, but flutter with the second. I'll have to put the other spring back in and hook up a boost source. That sounds great!

No problem, I also have the adjustment screw very loose. But hooking up the lower nipple made it sound and function alot better.
