Gready BOV Problem

I just put on a hard pipe with a gready rs bov.When just driving the car normal no boost(around 2500 rpm) it starts to sound like a tea kettle.And when I shift there is no woosh.I don't know if there is something wrong with the bov or it has to be adjusted.

Is the type rs suppose to whistle like the type s? Mine is all the wooshy air sound....

Have you tried tightening the spring? Maybe the leak is air escaping out of the BOV because its to soft.

Just thought I would throw that in there. Every one coverd everything else. So it couldnt hurt to try and harden the spring up see what happens.

The RS doesn't have the whistle like the S, I actually prefer the RS sound over the S but I got mine for free so I can't really complain.
