hey i just upgraded to Greddy intercooler pipes ON MY 95 GST, and I'm currently having problems with the BOV, its a GReddy Type-S BOV and I dont know how to fix it, and also when i put all that on the car the stock psi gauge stop working??? I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS ONE GUYS :|

Yea like RedTurbo said you said you had a problem but whats your problem? To help ya some we need to knnow what kind of problem your having

Be even more descriptive...you start it, it fires up, then it immediately stalls? Or does it idle for a few seconds then stall? Or does it idle for 10 minutes then stall? Can you rev it up after you start it and keep it running? Are you getting a check engine light?

Make sure you plugged the MAS back in.

Then check that all of your couplers are secure.

Then do a boost leak test.

And why do you think that your BOV has anything to do with your car stalling? Unless you forgot to put it on, I don't see how it would cause this sort of problem. I'd concentrate on the intercooler parts you put on and any other parts/plugs you took off and may have forgotten to put back on. No matter what, do a boost leak test before you claim to be done with an intercooler install.:thumb:

If the BOV is letting air out at idle, it will cause the car to stall.

This may also be a boost leak problem... The overall diagnosis is that your engine is receiving a different air/fuel ratio than what your MAF is sending.

There is a leak somewhere in your piping/IC/BOV/intake manifold or the MAF is sending an incorrect signal.

Do you hear any "whooshing" sounds?

Yeah, Zilo, but if the BOV is letting air out at idle, there is definitely something wrong with it.

Explain your logic here...

At idle, 1g/2g stock BOV's and other BOV's with light springs will remain open at idle. The vacuum from the intake manifold pulls the valve open at idle to allow air to bypass back into the turbo when recirculated. If venting to the atmosphere, this is a loss of metered air causing the car to run rich as stated before.

My Tial which has a 9psi spring, is open at idle. Completely normal with stock cams. If you fail to believe me, go take off the recirculation tube and feel for yourself.

A. Make sure you are recirculating.
B. Boost leak test.

I really don't know why you gies are getting your panties in a twist. All dsm blow of valves are open at idle. I wont you to fin me one that doesn't stay open at -20 vac manifold pressure. Thats why they recerculate.

My god if it didn't stay open you would either, blow out your throttle plate or Back spin your turbo
