If the nuts are coming loose you need to put some lock washers on them. If there tight and it still leaks probably needs a new gasket

Gasket is brand new im going to tighten them up tommorow if it works then I get to go to the next face tunning this car man its been tuff one minute its dialed in ill go for a crusise come back and its idling at 1300 rpms

Click the intake tab at the top and then scroll to Misc intake and click the link beside intake leak tester.

MAKE sure to have someone watch the boost gauge or do it with a regulator to not put more than 20PSI of pressure on it or you risk blowing turbo seals and anything else.

To just check for vaccum leaks when it is idleing at 1300RPM pull the lines off one at a time and plug the line and nipple with your fingers. If it idles down you have a vaccume leak on that line.

Could be other things such as leaking BISS oring when the car warms up. Read through some of the throttle body post under that link to get a better idea of what does what. Most any question you can come up with is somewhere on that site

looks like the exhaust manifold

possibly needs to be tightned? I had it tightened to spec Idk what could be making it come lose

If you keep having a stud/nut come loose, or keep blowing gaskets in the same place, the flange on the exhaust manifold could be warped and need to be surfaced.

maybe its time fpr a better manifold? when I get some money im take it off and see whats under it think im going to do a new knock sensor to i have my suscipision about this one, hence im getting huge amounts of knock when I floor it like 9 degrees cel comes on and all that good stuff..

It's not a matter of finding a "better" manifold. Just one that isn't warped or fixing yours, if in fact, you find yours to be warped. First you have to determine if that's actually the problem.

I tightned up the mani bolt in the corner no more smoke from that side but it appears to be comming from the other side from underneath, I wonder of the down pipe bolts have came loose? I mean I tightned them to spec and put some antifreeze grease on them so Idk, in about a hour ima try to tighten down the manifold 14ft lbs if i rember correctly?

ok, so I tightned the mani bolts and havent seen smoke yet, but this is premature, those corners I was talking about they do have a little oil saturation the timing belt doesnt have any oil on it from what I can see don't think It would dry up oil would be totaly noticeable right? oh and when you tune do you set your fuel pressure regulator up first or after u do the injectors?? mine are 680's

okay so the smoke is there its leaking out of the spot that i been talking about not the manifold but the head where the stud is fartest to the right strange idk why
