I currently have a T04e from ebay and i don't know what to do. Rebuild it with Garret parts or buy a new turbo? And if i rebuilt it what would give me alil extra reliability? Lastly i need good recommendations for turbos that are under 500- 400$

It holds 25psi, so that's where it's set. However, it does see a spike of 28 before "settling." Car is running on 850cc injectors. Porting helps, too. This car is also running on speed density, with FP2 cams and FP exhaust manifold.

There's two different times for it based on fuel. On 93 it would run mid-low 12's trapping 110mph. (18psi)
On 110 running 25-28psi, ran a few 11's when I got a good launch, trapping 116-117mph.

For other comparison notes, the FP manifold did seem to help the car gain a few MPH on the top end over the previous year's runs on an Evo3 one. It's worth the $175 when they go on sale. I also had it coated and made a heat shield for it because I'm a stickler for helping the car run cooler.

Hope that helps some. I am going to try to push this thing a little further in the spring. :)

First, lets start with this... How did you come up with 350WHP? What's the fastest car you've driven (not including valet jobs, or any misc things like that)?

If this is your first build I think the 16g would make you very happy. They have plenty of potential, HIT LIKE A HAMMER, are known to take beatings, and can be found for a relatively good price. They spool up quick as well, which is very helpful on a daily driver. If you are planning on doing AutoX you will need the quick spool as well.

Also, there's way more than just a turbo choice that you should include in your overall budget.

^. Good advice! You also have to learn how to drive it! As silly as that sounds, it's true. The more power you make the car will act differently when launching. Also if a stick car, learning to WOT shift will make or break your times. With a smaller turbo some of this can be overcome since the spool is quicker. Long story short, starting off with something smaller is not a bad idea. As you can see these smaller turbos can still bet you a quick car, too!

My friends boosted integra its currently running a 16g with only 11 pounds at the moment (fastest that i know of ) but i figured if i'm gonna forge out my engine i want between 300 to 350whp I have all the supporting mods except (Dsmlink(yet), injectors, cams, springs)

Its quick for a teenagers car. It smokes sti's as much as i hate to admit. Its probably the Evo turbo on it:hellyeah:

Oh no they know everyone wants to be the fastest at the school. Wish the dsm was back on the road.. Nah he told me 500 i just laughed at him. And told him his a pos:nono:
