The closest track near me is having an "Import Day" coming up in a month. I've never run my new car there, but I want to have it up to 12's. I know until you get used to the car the times will be high, but assume that I get launching and everything down, what more (if anything) do you think I need for 12's...mods=Big 16g ported and clipped, ported exaust manifold and O2 housing, 2.5inch downpipe, 3 inch HKS catback, new injectors and fuel pump, Apex SAFC, Apex BOV, 17 inch wheels, Hurst short shifter, metal intercooler piping, manual boost control set at 17 psi.

With a clutch you should be able to hit 12's fairly easily with that setup I'd assume. 16g's are easily capable of going into 12's. I live in Cincinnati also, are you going to Edgewater?

You're kidding right? 16G with those mods will NOT be hitting 12's with FWD.

with some slicks and smallest wheels you can fit over the brakes you should hit 12's no problem... depending on condition of your car... maybe low to mid 12's if you do some weight reduction as well...

did you say you have some coilovers or suspension? that will help with your fwd as well... get some kyb agx's for the rear and stiffen to hardest possible...

OMGgg u will not get low 12s with that setup by just getting slicks and weight reduction. Pretty much every 100lbs u drop u get tenth of a second on 1/4, u cant just drop 500-700lbs on ur car like that, even so with his current mods that wont cut it.

Actually I just realized I have every mod on the Stage 1 tuning guide on this site, and even a few on the Stage 2. It says possibly high 12 with all of stage 1, so with some from stage 2 it should be even easier.

The lower ur E/Ts get , the more expensive it becomes to get any faster, thats a basic rule of racing, might only cost u 2k upfront to get into the 12s from 14.5s, but another 2k after that will not lead u into the 10s.

I doubt u can get high 12s with the stage 1 mods. Maybe with perfect driving and expensive equipment, but with 2g manifolds, ported stock o2 housings, decent 2.5" exhausts, and stock cats, its doubtful.
