im looking for a good sounding muffler to use when doing my exhaust. i plan on running 3 inch piping. i dont need anything fancy, mainly just looking for something that flows good, and sounds good. on my previous gs-t i had a 3" buschur racing cat back, and absolutely loved the sound of it, and would like to get something that sounded close to that. thanks in advance.

What I did was get a 3 inch glass pack, and put it further up the exhaust in the middle of the car. Then for the muffler area I just got a open "tip" borla piece and welded it in. Its only like 5 inches long and theres nothing in it, and as for the glasspack its a no restriction item also just makes a nice rumble, and deep tone. I absolutly love it. good luck

Will the shape of a muffler make a difference? Because I have a straight through muffler and it sounds a little on the ricey side. I have heard a magnaflow as well and I loved it. Would it be worth it to switch or will it not make a difference? How much is a magnaflow muffler?

My buddy had a Flowmaster (for 4 cylinders) on his Accord and it sounded great:thumb: It sounded very low at idle and normal driving but when you put your foot on the gas hard it sounded sick:D
