I'm going to have a muffler and exhaust company make me a custom cat back on my awd talon and i was just wondering about the o2 sensor? what are my options because i do relize that its located after the cat. whats the cheapest way u think? relocate it or just have then weld a pipe with the right size nut or is there any other options?

Have them torch a hole in the pipe just after the cat again and then weld a o2 bung to the pipe and then screw the o2 sensor back into the pipe. That is what I did with mine. Hope this helps you out.

i know it'll vary where you go but how much extra did it cost you guys to get the bung welded in?

I don't know exactly. I would think less than $35 at a muffler shop and that is still probably a high guess. I had the bung added when I had the exhaust made for me and so the price was already included. It shouldn't be hard for a muffler shop to do.

I did the exhaust work my self I think I gave an exhaust shop 50 cents for the bung. but i had him give me a piece of 3" pipe with a 30 deg. manderal bend to so he gave me that probably pretty cheap. but Im sure it cant cost more than a dollar or 2.
