Good Motor? TSI AWD

I just bouth my 2nd DSM ! its a 1992 TSI AWD and i was wondering what a good motor is 4 it i got it 4 $550 so its my project car i wanna do a 6-bolt swap but dont rly kno the benefits of it? i heard they come in the VR4's but idk? so what motor is good what is the ups and downs? and what do they come in? those r my questions also what motor is in it now? if u guys might kno?

I do "kno" what grammar is "4" and it's to avoid giving people a headache from deciphering your moon language. You may have a 6bolt in the car already. In the event that you purchased a 7-bolt, and it runs well for the 550 you spent on it, then just run that motor until you have any problems.

Ya sorry about the grammer i talk on the internet a lot and im just typin normal from usual. but how can i tell if it is a 6-bolt or 7-bolt..if etheir? without pulling the tranny and looking at the crank?
