I know there isnt that much of a between EVO3 16g and 18g except 18g can make more power but its lack a lil bit more then 16g. And also 18g cost alot more but if i get a good deal with the 18g (internally gate from Force Performance)...i mean really good deal.....should i get it? It comes with install kit, J-pipe, evo3 ported Manifold, and 2.5 o2 housing. My mods are up to date except for SAFC2, logger, and 650cc injectors. SO what do you guys think? My goal is to get my 2g GSX to low 12s or 11s. I dunno how much HP or AWHP i need to have tp achieve that but i think this turbo can get me there.

You can easily get into the low 12s with an 18g. It can be done with a 14b. What you got and can tune an 18g on 20psi you will be happy.

agreed, but don't be like me and buy a turbo that will meet the goals you have now, but not the goals you will have next year.
i wanted to run 12's and now that i can i want to hit 10's

well im pretty sure i can get 11s on a 18g if i get all the right supports and tune it really well but i just want a safe 12s car with no major mods....any hardcore like bored block, stroker kit or anything to that extreme. With my current mods and the three things i've listed above im pretty sure thats a good support mods to make my car with a 18g into 11s...maybe DSMlink. But like i said i just want a safe 12s car that doesnt require me to change too much.

If its a good deal, then I'd go for it. As far as performance goes it doesn't seem to have much more then the evoIII but that could be people haven't run the 18g to its full potential like they have the evoIII. Properly tuned you should see 11's if you can drive as well (with proper supporting mods of course)
