Do not purchase a GODSPEED front mount intercooler kit from anywhere. I tried to save some money and bought this one. Two of the parts in this kit are bad from the manufacturer which is FATBOY. The jpipe is bad because they take a pipe that is to big and weld it to the flange that bolts to onto your turbo. Due to the pipe and the weld there is no room for your bolts to bolt on strait to the flange. The weld and pipe is in the way. I even tried using allen head bolt that have a very small head and there's still no room. you have to grind weld off of it and that is risky because you lose integrity of the part. I notified them of the problem and they sent me another part and it was just as bad as first one. All they would have to do is use a smaller pipe at the flange and expand it at the bend to the larger size. But they're to stupid to do it. The problem with the other part is the bov pipe. they welded the flange in the wrong place. You can take the part they sent you and compare it to the one that have in their picture and it's not in the same place. Save some money and get a water to air kit from frozenboost.com it's way more effective and parts are good.

I bought the cx kit(came with test spec for turbo), installed it and the turbo made a god aweful whining noise and would hold pressure. Wastegate or something is f'd. I sent them an eBay message and they said to call them.. I doubt they'll refund or swap but we'll see. I ended up throwing my 14b back on and it pulls hard. I have now learned the hard way again. When I rebuild my bottom end I think I will buy the fp green, but for now the 14b with the fmic is great and will be even better after the tune.

So my first hand advice, would be to upgrade to fmic and piping, fuel pump and rewire and 16lbs on the 14b, if no shaft play/ ok condition. It's gonna hold me over for a while. I'm glad it didn't blow my motor!!

*wouldnt hold pressure

I purchased a fat boy 16g and god speed short route fmic, Horrible fitment and I hope to see a hundred miles outta that cheap turbo, I almost stripped the housing on the turbo. Ebay does sell tons of junk, gotta find the good named products, we all learn at different rates! LOL shit

I have good experience with Godspeed intercoolers. Clamps and silicone couplers that come in the kit are crap. My current 4" core bar and plate intercooler works great, no leaks at 40psi boost. I used Vibrant pipes and silicone couplers with my Godspeed intercooler.

I thought the point of saying ebay stuff is junk was to show that even though it's a hit-or-miss kinda thing, if you don't buy from them, that's zero chances of having wasted money..
