Note the AcDelco is a standard connector and the Motorcity Reman unit is a 1 wire.

Not that I know of. There are guides on this forum for wiring up the regulator portion using the factory DSM wiring.

MCR can make a 1-wire or 3-wire. Don’t do a 1-wire. There’s no benefit.

BTW, the part number is cs130 I believe.

My current setup has one wire from alternator to alternator fuse so I’m assuming that’s what I need

The 1-wire setup is suboptimal and is only around because it conveniently only requires one wire instead of two. You can make your own 3 wire setup like the factory or just plain use the factory harness if it's still there.
