My friend and I have been tuning my car via DSMlink to tune out some knock. The car was tuned by AMS, so I don't get why it leaned out all of suddend.
I had to reupload the tune on several occasions, so maybe something got changed. We were successful in tuning the knock out, but WOT timing is low around 7 degrees, and my fuel is way high!
Which seems odd to me. 190 pump, 650cc's, Evo316g, mild cams, 93 octane. We both seem to think the global percent isn't right for one reason or another. Eventhough it's chipped to have base settings for 650 injectors.
I've searched, and I'm waiting for the DSMlink forums to send me my username and password, (I forgot, it's been a while) but it's not coming.
I read that 550cc's were around 21-23, and 1000cc's were around 54ish. But I can't find anything on the 650cc's. I really think this may explain why the car has such low timing and high fuel usage at 17psi.
If anyone knows the global % for 650cc's or a formula, please help me!
Thank you.
Reggie
