Ghost car won't turn off!!!!

Well today I finally finished installing my gauges and what not. So I decided to test them to see if I could get my oil temp and water temp to show heat. Well After letting it idle for about 10 minutes something strange happened. I turned the key off, all power was off but the car kept running!? This is the first time I have had it running that long, It turned off fine before when I only ran it for a few seconds? Also when I first started it up, it idled from 750 rpm then jumped to 1500, it did this 4 or so times before returning to normal idle. Also while under my car today, I have discovered the knock sensor is broken. I don't know what the symptoms of that are but yeah...not cool, any help, I had to turn it off by pulling the plug wires

Sounds like either key switch not working or a stuck ASD relay.

I only have 2 relays where those three labeled a b c are?

Auto cars have 3 relays. Manuals only have 2 like you have.

Well that explains that....hah well I will try replacing that. Is there anyway the gauges wiring could be messed up somewhere and cause this?
