Getting another dsm 90 gsx

Hey fella's been on the boards for quite some time, havn't really dug into the community too much. Proud to say i'll be picking up a 90 GSX here shortly. It's in rough shape but the price is great.

It needs a front bumper, a turbo and lines and needs to be reassembled. All the body panels are off for paint. Might as well paint it while its down. I'm so damn excited to get back into a dsm thats close to running. I need a daily driver and I think this is her.
I already have a GVR4 thats been down for the count but its tough sourcing all the parts...

damn! looks like you have your work cut out for you. Make sure you know exactly what work the car is gonna need. I did an impulse buy on a 90 gsx and it ended up needing a whole new bottom end to my surprise! Hope everything turns out good for ya, also i see your in longmount im in denver for a while would be sick to come check it out if i have the time! (also dont know if those are close or a 5 hour drive )

This does look like it'll be a fun project to follow, do you have any goals as far as time/power is concerned? By time I mean schedule-wise, not 1/4 time.

The price is ok but could be better. It isn't in my posession yet so... I'll update after I figure everything out.

I've been into dsm's since my senior year of highschool, I'm 24 now... As I get older, I find myself getting pickier and pickier about paint. Maybe because I've never paid much attention to it but my goal is really to get either a nice couple coats of red or preferably white on it. I've always wanted a panda but It always seems to slip my grip.

Power wise, no goals as of yet. My galant has a JE on EAGLE motor in it and I can't find the motivation to finish her. Something as simple as bolting on A/C is a huge affair. Not to mention it needs a windshield, driveshaft and hood, all of which are expensive and NEVER local, besides the shield. I do have a little girl and i've been making sure I think about my families future as well so its a lot to juggle.

I'm honestly looking for a 4g63 that RUNS and i'll go from there. I've moved my way up the ladder at Advance Auto Parts so, maintenance will be first priority, as usual. I have an 05 wrx and it's getting boring. I'm tired of adding parts and its not going any faster. They're so hard to get the bang for the buck like the 4g motor.

Anyway, No goals, I'm sure i'll just keep adding parts until she turns into a Shep car...

Still havn't figured out how i'm gonna get this brute from his house to my house... I dont have a truck or a trailor. I've got some speed bleeders for asle if anyone wants to help this project along ;-)
I'm thinking Home Depot truck and a Uhaul... it'll be interesting...
Do the home depot trucks have trailor hitches?

just curious, what did you spend on that? im trying to sell my 90 AWD black shell...and its soooooooooooo much cleaner then that. in and out there are really no flaws. and thats absolutely serious. no dings, dents, rips, tears, true scratches...its amazingly fresh. rolling shelll...i wish i could show pics, but i cant find my camera hookup cord . i wann let it go for 1000..

That's not the original speedo for that car I don't think. It's in increments of 10 and I'm pretty sure the '90 was 5, 15 etc...
