Gauges on pillar pod or cluster ?

U have a few other options...i make a pod that goes below the radio, only works if uhave an aftermarket 1 din radio..but its clean and outa the way..ive put gauges in the air bag cover..modded of course but the principal is thay are aimed twords the driver.

Could you provide pictures?

I finally have my gauge pod installed.
I decided for the lotek double/full pillar pod.
I will post pics later. I love the way the lotek piece looks, the dual pods are placed not too low or too high on the pillar, it's perfect and i am very happy with my decision.

I hate the triple pillar setup, it screams LOOK AT ME and that's not what I'm about in my car. So, I use the dual gauge bezel mount, and I use 2x dual display gauges (Wideband/Boost on the left, Oil Press/Coolant Temp on right).

We have similar likes absit, i went for the clean/sleek look. I love my dual pods.

Looks good, I went with the triple though, pro's and con's but that is part of experimenting what is best for all of our tatse!

I agree. I'll trust the oem oil pressure gauge and maintain a clean simple look to the car.

If you run dual display gauges you can have everything you need in an aftermarket gauge setup in the 2x pods for the bezel.

a/f, boost and egt. i also have water and oil but i need the center vent bezel.

I run a my W/B 1st & my Boost/Vac 2nd & my Oil Pressure last in my triple a-pillar & around the gauge cluster I run the dual pod with my Trans Temp on the left & the Volts on the Right & looking to put an EGT & a Water Temp in the Center bezel.

I don't like the triple a pillar gauge so I put my boost gauge in a single pod on my a pillar and dremelled out my cig lighter and put my aem wideband down in there. Looks flush.

Pics good sir ?

There's enough to monitor on our cars if you like to modify your ride, I have boost and wideband on the pillar and really can't say they affect my vision any. I'm planning on getting a guauge bezel for a pirometer and oil pressure guages

i have my guages above the stereo but there going into my vision. ive been driving down the road to look down to the oil pressure guage at 0! from blowing my oil cooler lines. so im getting the triple pillar pod. above the stereo is nice but i dont want to lose the engine due to not seeing the guages.

The pictures of the triple gauge pillar pods seem to stick out really far?!!

I have the crummy glow shift triple gauge pillar pod, visibility is just as good as before, and gauges are easy to glance at. I don't personally like the pod I have, but it serves it's purpose. I'm not willing to sacrifice anything else to put the gauges in, and I won't drill my dash board, so until I figure something else out, I'll play rice boy for a bit... with tinted windows you can't see the pod unless you're staring through the windshield.

I currently have boost mounted in a single pod on my steering column but I am getting oil pressure and af/r and will most likely go with the dual pillar look. I still have the stock stero if i go aftermarket head unit I may place the gauges down there.

Not a great picture of my three gauges...
But i took this while driving to a amusement park =p

(and yes my oil and water temp werent installed at the time!)

I like how you have the cobalt gauges with the cobalt car sitting right next to you at the light.

Just wondering about the pillar pods. I will only go dual then that's it with the pillars, but the thing I hate is the fact you have to drill them in. Why haven't anyone made a pillar pod that pops in like Stock for a clean look and easy install?? Get with the program vendors!!

Honestly, I'd rather they be drilled in. I think of the added weight of the gauges (specially if you have 3 beefy Defi's in there) in a crash. I wouldn't trust those little clips to do much. That's just me and I'm partially paranoid, but I'd rather it be retained completely.
